My name is Ben Wray and I'm proud to be a governor at Brookfield Primary School. I became a governor at Brookfield in March 2022. I am a serving Headteacher in Derbyshire and have taught in a number of different schools across the county over the past 14 years. I am passionate about providing every child with the very best education possible. I bring my experience of headship and teaching to the governing board and specialise in curriculum. 

Brookfield is a very special place and often faces unique challenges as a school. I enjoy providing support and challenge to senior leaders in the school ensuring standards of education continue to rise. I particuarly love how committed the staff are to the community and I'm excited to see how Brookfield will develop and improve over the coming years.
